We just finished Noelle and Bobby’s video shoot this past weekend and we couldn’t be more excited about the footage we shot! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding in a couple weeks!
On July 19, 2014, Joy and AJ sealed the deal at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Newtown, PA. They should BE so lucky! The families were awesome, the weather was great, and did I mention the killer Italian antipasto display? Oh yeah, that was delicious!
Our cinema production team was there from start to finish capturing each moment throughout the day. After reviewing the footage, we’re stoked to begin the post-production process.
Stay tuned for their wedding film… it’s going to be exceptional! For now, check out some of these snapshots!
And they’re back! You’ll probably remember these awesome folks from a few other blog posts. After hanging with them for an engagement photo shoot, a Save The Date video shoot, voiceover recording session and wedding film b-roll shoot, we’re now proud to show you Brittany and Carl’s wedding film!
Brittany and Carl are an amazing couple. This was made clear after reading through their heartwarming love notes in the early days of production. We knew from the start that this was going to be a special film because of the fantastic narration tracks they recorded in our studio.
Their wedding reception was held at the John J. Audubon Center and what a cool place it is. You couldn’t ask for a better day to film! We were able to capture some awesome moments with the summer sunset beaming through the beautiful outdoor pavilion. We also used some clips from Brittany and Carl’s Save the Date film. If you haven’t already watched it, we urge you to check it out!
We thought this film came out great… but we weren’t the only ones who thought so:
Our wedding films take an immense amount of effort to craft. Hearing these kind words from our couples is truly gratifying and is what inspires us to keep going! Thank you for being so awesome!
A huge congratulations to Brittany and Carl. We had a blast hanging with them and we’re extremely honored that they chose us to make this film. We wish you two the best of luck!

When we first sat down and thought about pursuing film production, we never thought we’d be doing weddings for any other reason than to make ends meet while we looked for “real” jobs. Why? The truth is that we thought making wedding videos was too stressful, too cheesy, and too boring. And while it can be stressful, we were definitely wrong about the other parts.
Randall and Fatima’s film is something we’re really proud of. When people think of wedding videos, we want them to think of this – not the dusty VHS tape their parents probably have sitting in their attic.
The “epic-ness” of this film is owed entirely to Randall and Fatima. Not only did they plan a beautiful wedding in Brooklyn at Giando on the Water, but they are also just really awesome, down-to-earth, fun people. And they have a palpable emotional connection together that even the best cinematographers could not stage. Great films come from great stories, and if you feel a little teary-eyed at the end of this one, you’ll know it’s because Randall and Fatima really do share something special.
We loved working alongside Alicia Swedenborg – who is amazing and shoots film! – and the friendly staff at Giando. Giando is really an amazing place to have a wedding – the views of NYC and the Williamsburg Bridge are equally stunning.
On the techie side, this was the first time we printed the DVD case cover from a video still from the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. You could definitely print very nice 4×6’s from the camera. Pretty cool…
